Laramey Johnson joined Sumner Insurance 2023 bringing vast experience in investments, insurance, and annuities, Laramey adds a wealth of knowledge to the Sumner team. Holding a Health & Life Producer license, Laramey assists clients in navigating retirement planning, Medicare, Life, Long-Term Care and Health Insurance needs. Registered as a Financial Representative and Independent Investment Advisor (under FINRA Series 7 & 66), Laramey’s passion is helping people navigate insurance and investments, moving them toward financial literacy, while freeing up resources for God’s work. Laramey lives by the motto “If you always do what’s right, you won’t have to worry about finding business, it will find you.”

 

Laramey holds designations as a Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC), Certified Kingdom Advisor (KA), and Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA). As a FIC Laramey holds vast experience in helping clients' insurance products. As a KA, Laramey is committed to professional excellence, ethical practice, and to providing biblically-sound financial advice. As a RSSA, Laramey is part of an elite group of advisors trained to help Americans optimize their Social Security Benefits. 

 

When not at Sumner you will likely find Laramey with his family or helping his wife Mandy at their other business Redeemed Threads Consignment and Boutique in downtown Sedalia or doing chores on their acreage in rural Sweet Springs where they raise pigs, chickens, eggs, and garden vegetables.

 

Laramey is actively involved with his church “Holy Cross LCMS” in Emma, MO where he serves in various capacities. He has also served as an ambassador for the Sedalia Chamber of Commerce and the Heits Lutheran Camp board. Laramey enjoys time with his family, reading nonfiction, and studying the bible. He loves nature, hiking and National Parks. His favorite trip thus far has been to the Pacific Northwest and driving the pacific coastal highway from northern Oregon to southern California.
