Luke began working for Sumner Insurance in August of 2022 as operations support to the agency. He earned his Property and Casualty license in 2023 and feels blessed to help many people each day. Luke excels at communicating with clients and relates well to many types of people. With his animated, outgoing personality, it’s no surprise that his favorite part of the job is interacting with a diversity of people every day. He feels privileged to assist others by working on quotes, answering questions, and helping out wherever needed.

​In 2024, Luke was honored to receive the Best of Sedalia "Star Insurance Agent" award. He graduated from State Fair Community College in May of 2024 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Central Methodist University.

Beyond work and school, Luke enjoys performing live music – playing on the worship team at Encounter Church and leading his own project “Luke Rehmer Music”. He also loves to hunt and fish, but also bowl, as he is in a league with his father in Warrensburg.
