Laramey Johnson joined Sumner Insurance in September 2023. With his vast experience in investments, insurance, and annuities, Laramey adds a wealth of knowledge to the Sumner Insurance agent team. Holding a Health & Life Producer license, Laramey assists clients in navigating retirement planning, Medicare, Life, Long-Term Care and Health Insurance needs. Registered as a Financial Representative and Independent Investment Advisor (FINRA Series 7 & 66), Laramey’s passion is helping people navigate insurance and investments, moving them toward financial literacy, and freeing up resources for God’s work. As a former owner/operator of a Financial Advisory and Investment practice, he lives by the motto “If you always do what’s right, you won’t have to worry about finding business, it will find you.”

Laramey holds designations as a Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC) and a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA). As a CKA, Laramey is committed to professional excellence, ethical practice, and to providing biblically-sound financial advice. As a Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA), Laramey is part of an elite group of advisors trained to help Americans maximize their Social Security Benefits. He has studied the complex laws and rules of S.S. and is well-equipped to guide people through the complex considerations in their claiming strategies, providing advice and comfort to his clients.

Laramey is actively involved in his church in Emma, MO and an ambassador for the Sedalia Chamber of Commerce. He enjoys non-fiction reading as well as hobby farming, gardening, and truck and tractor pulling. He loves nature, hiking and National Parks. His favorite trip thus far has been to the Pacific Northwest.
